I am a physician who has taken to photography as a major hobby. 

I started photography 20 years ago.  I was inspired by early successes to continue to develop photography as an art.  I have continued to refine this art through practice, reading, sharing on the web, and a series of courses.  His photographs have repeatedly won medals at the local art shows.

I now shoot a Canon 5D Mark II digital SLR with a variety of lenses. I enjoy enhancing my photos and in some cases significantly augment my images with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. 

I enjoy photographing nature and landscapes, and colors, shapes and patterns to evoke emotion, whether this be through the warmth of familiarity, calmness, or beauty.  I prefer to photograph locally and around New England, especially Acadia National Park in Maine.
